System: Mitsubishi MUY-GS12NA-U1
Symptom: No indoor LED error code on arrival / outdoor LED 10 blinks.
When I arrived on site, the indoor unit was not blinking an error code. The owner observed that the indoor unit would continuously run but not blow cold air. I checked the outdoor unit and could hear the compressor running but the fan motor was not spinning. The compressor shut down about 30 seconds later and the red LED on the inverter board started blinking 10 times. This indicated an issue with the outdoor fan motor. Since there was no error code displayed inside, the owner never saw an error code, and the outdoor fan motor was not spinning, I decided to replace both the inverter board and outdoor fan motor. This solved the issue and the customer was happy.
